Across construction, industrial, and municipal operations, environmental challenges are constant. Whether it’s an emergency pump-out or a planned project, the ability to act quickly and with precision is what separates a successful project from a costly environmental or financial failure.

Groupe MGC delivers fully integrated, turnkey services, with every intervention designed to optimize the environmental management of your discharges while maintaining the highest standards of environmental integrity. Whether in an industrial setting or beyond, our teams are ready to step in, on-site or off-site, at any time.

Technical expertise powering industrial pumping

Our technical expertise is built on a deep understanding of industrial pumping. Our teams fully understand and manage the risks associated with residual materials, along with all requirements related to wastewater pumping.

Whether you are an environmental engineer overseeing a contaminated site or a foreman managing a large-scale construction project, you know that pumping operations require constant adaptability. The Groupe MGC team stands out for its ability to assess conditions on the ground and deliver tailored solutions, including tanker transport to authorized and accredited treatment facilities.

Agility and emergency pumping for oil spills

When an environmental incident happens and pumping is needed, you need a team that responds quickly and delivers with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. At MGC, we provide a full range of services backed by a modern vacuum truck fleet and a strong commitment to operational excellence, so every detail is handled properly.

We hold ourselves to the highest standards because earning and maintaining your trust drives everything we do.

Our entire team operates using a proven and robust methodology. We analyze, we understand, we propose, and we act. Our experience and expertise make us a trusted partner to meet all your needs quickly, efficiently, and in line with your expectations.

  1. Discharge analysis and control: Before pumping, we fully understand what we are handling. We assess your needs on-site and propose a tailored, customized approach.
  2. We analyze contaminants in the laboratory and carry out pumping operations using our fleet of 75 mobile units deployed across Quebec and Ontario.
  3. We offer a wide range of specialized cleaning services, including tanks, reservoirs, process basins, and confined spaces.
  4. We manage the storage and handling of waste and effluents: with our new large-capacity Baker Tank rental offering, we can now handle massive on-site volumes, allowing work to continue without interruption.
  5. We rent watertight containers and high-capacity storage tanks.
  6. We dispose of your waste in a professional, ethical and fully compliant manner.

We combine a strong commitment to professional excellence with the agility needed in the field. Our teams are available around the clock to respond when it matters most.
An oil spill or sewer line failure can’t wait. Our express pumping service is built to respond immediately to urgent situations on your sites or across your territory, helping you regain control quickly and safely.

Our operators are highly trained experts capable of making critical decisions under pressure to contain oil spills, carry out effective cleanup operations and minimize environmental impact.

Whether in municipal, industrial or construction settings, sewer, sludge, and sanitary pumping are critical operations. We work closely with your teams to ensure smooth service and rapid resolution.

An integrated, full-service offering that delivers efficient mobile pumping solutions

We continuously evolve our services to better meet your needs. That’s why we now offer Baker tank rentals and temporary storage solutions.

Imagine being able to empty an entire production unit, safely store the liquids in our temporary tanks, carry out cleaning operations and then pump everything back into place. This integrated approach reduces transportation costs and significantly improves your operational efficiency

Choosing an environmental partner comes down to trust. We build long-term relationships on that foundation, backed by a deep understanding of your operations and constraints.

We operate in full compliance with environmental regulations in Quebec, and our vacuum truck fleet is maintained to the highest standards to ensure reliable, consistent performance in the field. Where others see complex technical challenges, we see opportunities to apply practical expertise and deliver effective, innovative solutions.

We are a trusted partner for industrial and mobile pumping services, grounded in responsible practices and a clear commitment to environmental sustainability.

Do you know the difference between vacuum pumping and positive displacement pumping?

In industrial pumping, two main technologies stand out: vacuum pumping (suction-based) and positive displacement pumping. Understanding the difference helps explain why choosing the right equipment can make a critical difference on a job site or during an environmental intervention.

Vacuum trucks operate by creating a vacuum inside a sealed tank. This pressure difference draws in liquids, semi-liquids or even solids into the tank. This technology is particularly well suited for:

  • Wastewater and sanitary pumping
  • Sewer pumping and retention basin servicing
  • Industrial sludge collection (sludge pumping)
  • Cleaning pits, sumps and separators
  • Rapid response to oil spill incidents

Advantages: Highly versatile, capable of handling thick or solids-laden materials, fast deployment and effective in tight or hard-to-reach areas.

Positive displacement pumping works differently. An internal mechanism (pistons, gears, screws, or membranes) captures a precise volume of fluid and continuously pushes it toward the discharge point. This type of pumping is preferred for:

  • Transfer of viscous fluids (heavy oils, dense sludge, industrial residues)
  • Oil pumping and industrial oil cleanup
  • Mobile pumping operations over long distances or significant elevation changes
  • Handling sensitive fluids that must not be sheared or emulsified
  • Filling and emptying large storage tanks such as Baker tanks

Advantages: Constant and precise flow rate, strong pressure capability over long distances, and excellent performance with thick or solids-heavy fluids.

Our experts help you determine the right approach based on your specific situation.

We assess:

  • The nature of the materials to be pumped (liquids, sludge, oil, wastewater, hazardous materials)
  • The distance and elevation between the extraction point and the discharge or storage area
  • Operation urgency (emergency pumping vs planned operation)
  • Site access constraints (tight spaces, urban environments, active construction sites)
  • Applicable environmental regulatory requirements
